Our Support Team
Our Sponsors are high quality local service providers with the kinds of clients who qualify for CRT mentoring.  They pay an annual sponsorship fee to be members of the organization and to cover CRT’s modest administrative expenses. We are always looking for great sponsors that fit our culture; currently, our priority is to find sponsors in the following industries: human resources, employee benefits, and digital marketing.

Our Partners are professional and educational organizations that are business-oriented and provide support to their own members that is complementary to CRT’s advisory services.

Both Sponsors and Partners add value to their constituency by referring them to CRT.  They are asked to refer as often as they find appropriate companies.

They have the opportunity to develop great relationships with our Mentors, other Sponsors, other Partners, and CRT clients.

Steve is President of Endeavor Bank, San Diego’s first new community bank in 10 years. He has more than 36 years of banking experience in Southern California. Steve most recently served as President and past CEO of Regents Bank, the $650 million in assets San Diego division of Los Angeles-based Grandpoint Bank, a title he held from May 2012 until joining the Endeavor team in June 2017. 

Prior to joining Regents Bank, Steve was senior vice president of Citizen’s Business Bank, managing one of the bank’s largest regional offices. He joined the bank as the first manager of the headquarters’ Commercial Banking Group, where he worked for four years. From 1995 to 2008, Steve worked for Mellon 1st Business Bank. In 2002, he was appointed regional vice president, managing a de novo commercial office he opened.  Steve and his team grew the office to over $200 million in loans and deposits in six years. From 1991 to 1995, he worked at Sanwa Bank as vice president and team leader.  Steve began his banking career at City National Bank, working at the Beverly Hills headquarters in 1984.

Steve is a former board member of the Aliso Pico Business Support Group and one of the largest Boy Scouts Councils in the country, and was a founding member of a City of Hope chapter.  He is a 1984 graduate of the University of Texas where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. Steve resides in Carmel Valley with his wife, Lori.  They have four grown children and three grandchildren.
