Today, the college offers a variety of innovative programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. For undergraduates, the College offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with four options: 1. Accountancy / Finance; 2. Global Business Management; 3. High Technology Management; 4. Service Sector Management. A highlight of the program required of all students is the Senior Experience - a hands-on experience with real companies on real problems. This unique program gives students the opportunity to practice what they learn in class, develop self-confidence and build contacts important to their careers. Each year, more than 45 successful, well known companies, government agencies and non-profit organizations put teams of CSUSM business students to work on a variety of projects. At the graduate level, the college offers a Masters in Business Administration degree providing an exceptional opportunity for entry- to mid-level managers wishing to advance their management knowledge and skills. Designed for the working professional, this program has convenient class formats to accommodate the fully employed student. Rigorous and relevant curriculum in small classes enhance the learning experience while providing networking opportunities.

CONNECT Springboard www.connect.org/programs/springboard/ Ruprecht von Buttlar rvonbuttlar@connect.org CONNECT Springboard provides free assistance for life sciences and high-tech companies in all stages of development, including concept, start-up challenge and opportunity. Entrepreneurs accepted into the program spend six to twelve weeks in coaching sessions with one of CONNECT's Entrepreneurs in Residence. Upon completion of this process, entrepreneurs are invited to make a presentation of their business model to a select group of experts, tailored to the individual needs of each company. The goals of the panel presentation are to provide the entrepreneur with candid recommendations for the refinement of their business plan and to help identify next steps to acheive the company's goals. Since its inception in 1983, Springboard has assisted over 250 technology companies in starting and funding their operations. Over $620M has been raised by these companies and more than half are still doing business in San Diego.

San Diego North Economic Development Council www.sdnedc.com Gary Knight garyknight@sandiegonorthedc.org The San Diego North Economic Development Council is a membership-driven coalition of the private and public sectors working together to sustain and carefully grow the economic base of San Diego North. We accomplish this through business attraction, retention and new business development. The San Diego North EDC will work with businesses, chambers of commerce, health organizations, local governments and educational institutions to improve the quality of life and economic sustainability of North County and create additional, higher paying jobs.
