- The CEO is involved and coachable
- Proactive, not a victim, willing to invest
- Admits problems and wants our help
- The CRT has members with expertise to address the company's
issues
- The company is not in financial crisis and has enough time to
implement new ideas
- The company has a poorly developed outside board so the CEO
is not already awash in advice
- The company is not actively raising funds, making it easier
to focus on opportunities for improvement rather than strengths
- There is enough scale to give the CRT mentors the leverage to
have a significant positive impact on San Diego's business community:
- Annual revenues: at least $5m, $10+m desirable
- Employees: at least 10, 50+ desirable
- The company operates ethically in a respectable industry and
is not embroiled in lawsuits
